Winding Down In Sun City West
Late this afternoon, I coaxed Kelly’s dad and his wife (Sandy) into a picture with Kelly and me.

Once the glamour shots were completed, Gene and Sandy hosted two other couples for dessert and a night of dominoes. Having never played before, my skills were quite lacking, however I did manage to win one round. That said, I also managed to finish another with 123 points. Pathetic really.
Anyway, dessert was fabulous as was the evening overall.

This is our final night here in Sun City West (and civilization generally). Tomorrow we depart for a week of dry camping in the Arizona and California desert, which should be awesome.

Wandering With Purpose 
Dry camping in the desert sounds terrific! That’s a great family capture of the 4 of you and dominoes would be fun to play (I haven’t played it since I was a kid). Have fun in the desert!
Last night I tried the cookie recipe you linked to; not bad. I’m going to try again w/walnuts and slightly less salt. I used my Ninja blender with the dough paddle to great success. Who needs a mixer!
