Santa delivered strong wind gusts today and of course I forgot to tie down the portable solar panel. Consequently, my (previous) 160watt goal panel is no more. All is not lost however, I’ll disassemble the components and rewire, salvaging the surviving panel.

And then there were two; finally we are reunited with our deal pals Brian and Leigh.
Today we arrived to the southern California dessert; our plan being to spend a few weeks with follow nomads over the Christmas and New Year holidays. It’s hard to know for certain what the coming weeks will bring, but the rumor is upwards of 30-35 RV’s will be arriving. It should be a lot of fun.

Work brings me to Los Angeles for a few days of meetings. Pictured above is Today’s sunrise as I was standing from my hotel room balcony. I was lucky enough to catch great colors – the iPhone camera simply does not do justice.
Oh, and LA is still one of my least favorite cities.
