Back To Normal

We had a fantastic time in desert, but seemingly every moment was consumed with work or socializing.  It may sound odd to admit, but we needed a break from socializing.

We are now we are out of the desert … arriving late this afternoon to Mooro Bay, a lovely little town along the central California coast.  The state park here is virtually empty, affording us nearly the entire place to ourselves.

Just perfect.

It’s a shame really, but all good things must come to an end … if not, there is no opportunity for the next special moment to have its opportunity, and the next opportunity thereafter.

We arrived to the Anza Borrego desert two weeks ago not fully knowing what to expect, only that we would likely generate fond memories during a stay.  Sooner than I would have preferred, today’s sunrise will be the last for us here; we are moving onwards and in the process will be forced to say goodbye to great friends old and new.

Thanks to everyone for making our time here some of the best we’ve ever had while traveling.

Precursor Of Things To Come

And then there were two; finally we are reunited with our deal pals Brian and Leigh.

Today we arrived to the southern California dessert; our plan being to spend a few weeks with follow nomads over the Christmas and New Year holidays.  It’s hard to know for certain what the coming weeks will bring, but the rumor is upwards of 30-35 RV’s will be arriving.  It should be a lot of fun.

I’ve really come to like this park northeast of Phoenix.
